Community Midwives

Our maternity services within the practice are mainly undertaken by our team of very experienced midwives, based at Wigan hospital. The midwives provide full antenatal cover with weekly clinics at the surgery.

In-patient maternity care is usually provided at Wigan Infirmary.

Post natal care is provided at home by the same team of midwives who looked after you during your pregnancy, thus ensuring good continuity of care throughout the ante-natal and post-natal period.
