Covid Vaccination Proof Update
We understand that over the coming months many patients will be wanting to obtain proof of their covid vaccination status. As a surgery, we are unable to provide proof of vaccine letters. We need to ask for your help that you read the information below and then we can prevent unnecessary calls to the practice regarding this. This will help to try and keep our phone lines free for patients who need to get through to us and free up our reception to team to assist these people.
We ask that our patients access this information by downloading the ‘NHS app’ or visiting the following website- https://www.nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/login. The sign up process is very simple and you will not need to contact the surgery for any sign up information. During the registration, you will be asked for your NHS number. If you are unaware of this, please select that you do not know this and the system will ask you for alternative identifiable information. Once registered, you will then be able view your vaccination record by selecting ‘check your covid-19 vaccine record’.
If you do not have access to the internet, please telephone 119 who can provide you with confirmation of your vaccination status.
Please note, we do not currently use the app to book/manage appointments or to order medication therefore some of the sections on the app may be disabled.
