Dr Robin Graham's Retirement

It is with some sadness that we have to announce that Dr Robin Graham has retired from the practice after many years.

**********New Appointment Times**********
 
As From Monday 1st September we will be offering some early morning and late evening doctor appointments on Monday and Thursday. These appointments will be available for booking up to 1 week beforehand. These appointments should be particularly useful for those who have to leave home early or arrive home late.

The extra times are :  Monday     7am - 8.15am,  6.30pm - 8.00pm

                                Thursday   7am - 8.15am,  6.30pm - 8.00pm
These appointments are pre-bookable only. The surgery will be open as normal during these times

We are delighted to welcome Dr Rachael Francis to the practice as from 15th Sept

She has recently completed her General Practice training in Saddleworth, and now joins us at Beech Hill. She did her medical training in Sheffield

 
**********Mrs Ruth Winnard**********
 
Ruth joins our nursing team on 8th Sept. We are delighted to welcome her to Beech Hill and she joins our already excellent practice nurse team.

Ruth already has a wealth of experience in General Practice nursing and we look forward to her enhancing our nursing team further.

 
 
**********Find and Treat**********
 
We are very pleased to be part of Ashton, Leigh and Wigan PCT's Find and Treat programme

**********Health Trainers**********
 
The practice has joined with Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Primary Care Trust to offer health trainers to our patients. This is an initiative to encourage a healthier lifestyle, particularly in those people at higher risk of developing heart disease and stroke. At first, we will be targeting those people who are overweight and smokers.
