Repeat prescriptions

If you are on a regular medication you can make a repeat prescription request in person at the surgery, in writing or though this link. We regret that we cannot accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions. Please do not request medication that you do not use as this leads to an enormous amount of waste. If there are items on your repeat medication list which you no longer take  please let us know.

Please try to allow 2 working days for turn-around of this request.

You may be asked to see the doctor following a request. This is to ensure your safety when taking  your medication and to ensure you are taking the most appropriate medication for you complaint.

In some circumstances your local pharmacist has the ability to collect your prescription, please check with your local pharmacist to see how they can help.

Medication can be dangerous in the wrong hands. It is each person's responsibility to look after their medication carefully and to keep all drugs in a safe place. We will look carefully at requests for extra medication and may want to question you on what has happened and why you need extra supplies
