Text Box: I would like to thank all the many patients from Beech Hill Medical Practice who have sent cards or gifts to me on the occasion of my retirement from full time General Practice. Having started  in 1976 with Dr C S France and then amalgamated this single handed practice into the family group practice in 1977, times have changed considerably  and now we are The Beech Hill Medical Practice with some 14000 patients under our care and numerous Doctors , Nurses and Admin / Reception staff to keep things running smoothly. So as I step back from being one of a team keeping our General Practice independent  and trying to cope with the increasing political pressures I would like to take this opportunity to say once again thank-you all very much for kind thoughts as I step off this particular  treadmill and see what life has in store for the future .
